Piercing Aftercare

HOW TO CLEAN A NEW PIERCING
Recommended Cleaning Steps (2x Daily):
-
Wash your hands.
-
Spray Piercing Nurse™ directly onto the piercing or a sterile gauze pad.
-
Gently clean around the piercing, removing crust or discharge.
-
Let air-dry — do not wipe with a towel or tissue.
What NOT to use:
-
Alcohol or hydrogen peroxide (delays healing)
-
Antibacterial soap (can cause irritation)
-
Homemade saltwater (risk of improper ratio or contamination)
-
Ointments or oils (can trap bacteria)
SHOWERING & DAILY CARE
-
You can shower regularly — let warm water gently rinse over your piercing.
-
Use A cleaning solution immediately after to cleanse the site.
-
Avoid submersion in pools, hot tubs, lakes, or baths for the first 4–6 weeks.
-
Don’t twist, turn, or touch jewelry unnecessarily — this causes trauma and delays healing.
